        Russian Drones Hit Residential Buildings in Zaporizhzhia, Leaving One Dead and Three Injured

        Russian forces attacked Zaporizhzhia with drones several times overnight on June 22. A woman was killed and three other people were injured in the strikes, according to Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration.

        According to him, one of the enemy drones hit a private residential area in the regional center. The strike caused a house to catch fire.

        At first, officials reported that a woman might have been inside the burning house. Fedorov later confirmed her death.

        According to preliminary information, three people were injured. Emergency services were working at the scene.

        Earlier in the night, Fedorov said a private house had been destroyed and a fire had broken out as a result of a UAV attack on Zaporizhzhia. At that time, one man was reported injured and was receiving medical assistance.

        An apartment building was also damaged: windows were blown out and the facade was damaged.

        Later, Russian drones attacked Zaporizhzhia again. According to the regional authorities, one of the strikes hit a non-residential building, where a fire also broke out, but there were no casualties.

        Throughout the night, officials in Zaporizhzhia region also reported explosions, activity by enemy tactical aircraft and a threat of guided aerial bomb strikes.
