On the night of February 20, the Russian army attacked Kherson with guided aerial bombs. One of them hit a high-rise building in the Dniprovsky district.
At 00:05 it became known about the first victims – 13-year-old twins, a boy and a girl. They were diagnosed with mine-blast injuries and acute stress reaction.
“Almost at midnight, Russian terrorists attacked our city with three guided aerial bombs. Children were among the victims. One of the UAVs hit a high-rise building in the center of Kherson,” said Roman Mrochko, head of the city administration.
The children’s mother is likely to remain under the rubble. Rescuers continue searching, said the head of the regional administration, Oleksandr Prokudin.

Later, two more victims were reported: A 60-year-old man with abrasions on his forehead and a 36-year-old man who suffered an acubar injury.
