Russian forces attacked the Bashtanka district of Mykolaiv region overnight on July 8, preliminary using guided aerial bombs. A mother and daughter were killed in the strike, and two other people were injured, Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration head Vitaliy Kim reported.
According to him, a family was hit in the Horokhivska community. A 38-year-old woman and her 15-year-old daughter were killed.
Another child, a 13-year-old girl, was injured and hospitalized.
In another settlement of the community, a 39-year-old woman was also injured. She was taken to hospital as well.
As of the morning, both injured people were in serious but stable condition.
The attack damaged 20 private homes, an educational facility and a power line. Some customers were left without electricity.
