        Russia Strikes Zaporizhzhia With Guided Bombs Overnight: Three Injured, Over 15,000 Customers Without Power

        Russian forces attacked Zaporizhzhia overnight on July 8 with guided aerial bombs. Three people were injured in the strikes, and more than 15,000 customers were left without electricity, Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration head Ivan Fedorov said.

        At around 4:36 a.m., authorities warned of the threat of guided bomb attacks on Zaporizhzhia region and the city of Zaporizhzhia. Minutes later, Fedorov reported explosions.

        According to him, one of the strikes hit a food industry enterprise. The facility’s premises were destroyed, and a 43-year-old employee was injured. He is receiving all necessary medical assistance.

        Another Russian guided aerial bomb hit the territory of a garage cooperative, destroying and damaging buildings.

        Two people were injured in that strike — a 76-year-old man and a 76-year-old woman. They sought medical help on their own.

        After the attack, 15,342 customers in Zaporizhzhia were left without electricity. They include 14,574 residential customers and 768 legal entities.

        Specialists are already working to restore power supply.
