Russian forces attacked Kharkiv’s Saltivskyi district, injuring 24 people, including eight children. The strike hit a residential apartment building, causing damage to two floors of the building.
This was reported by Kharkiv Regional Military Administration head Oleh Syniehubov on Telegram.
According to him, the attack damaged the second floor of the apartment building. Destruction of the second and third floors was also recorded.
Among the injured are eight children. Two boys, aged 12 and 8, were hospitalized.
Six more children received medical assistance at the scene: a 3-year-old girl, a 9-year-old boy, a 7-year-old girl, a 10-year-old boy, a 15-year-old girl, and another 10-year-old boy.
Later, the number of injured people in the Saltivskyi district increased to 24. All of them received the necessary medical assistance.
In addition, a hit by an enemy drone into the ground was recorded in Kharkiv’s Shevchenkivskyi district. Information about possible damage and casualties is being clarified.
Emergency services, medics and law enforcement officers are working at the sites of the strikes.
