During the night of March 28, Russian forces launched a mass drone attack on Odesa. One person was killed and 12 others were injured, including a child.
According to the head of the Odesa City Military Administration Serhii Lysak, the attack hit civilian infrastructure, including the roof of a maternity hospital in the Prymorskyi district. Staff and patients managed to reach a shelter and were later evacuated.
The head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration Oleh Kiper said that 80 people were inside the facility at the time of the strike, including 33 medical workers. No fire broke out after the impact.
Significant damage to residential buildings was recorded across the city. In multi-storey buildings, balconies were destroyed, windows shattered, and fires broke out on upper floors.
