During the night of March 28, Russian forces launched a mass drone attack on Odesa. One person was killed and 12 others were injured, including a child.

According to the head of the Odesa City Military Administration Serhii Lysak, the attack hit civilian infrastructure, including the roof of a maternity hospital in the Prymorskyi district. Staff and patients managed to reach a shelter and were later evacuated.
