NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte has called on US President-elect Donald Trump to avoid concluding a peace agreement on Ukraine on terms favorable to Russia. He warned that this could lead to serious threats from China, Iran, and North Korea, which are strengthening their ties with Russia, which poses a threat to the United States.

This was reported by Rutte in an interview with the Financial Times.

Rutte emphasized that attempts to push Ukraine to an unfavorable peace agreement will only strengthen the US strategic adversaries, such as China, Iran and North Korea.

The Secretary General called on the newly elected US President to remain committed to NATO principles and continue to help Ukraine in its fight against Russian aggression.

Rutte drew attention to the growing danger posed by Russia’s transfer of missile technology to North Korea and financial support to Iran

The NATO Secretary General emphasized that further consolidation of the countries opposing the United States, with Russia’s support, could undermine global security and create new challenges for America and its allies
