On January 10, the Ministry of Justice announced the full restoration of all key services of the Unified State Register (USR) portal, which were suspended after a large-scale Russian cyberattack.
The Ministry noted that the following functions are now available again:
- Free search for information in the registry;
- Formation of extracts;
- Receiving the results of administrative services by access code;
- Access of state bodies to information from the registry through access identifiers.
As a reminder, on December 19, Minister of Justice of Ukraine Olga Stefanishyna reported a cyberattack that affected state registers under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Justice. As a result, their work was temporarily suspended.
The SBU opened proceedings under Article 438 of the Criminal Code – violation of the laws and customs of war. The main version is that the cyberattack was carried out by a hacker group of the Russian GRU.
