Over the past day, Ukrainian defenders repelled intense enemy offensives in several areas in the area of responsibility of the Khortytsia operational group of troops.
Pokrovske direction
Russian troops focused their main efforts on attacking in the areas of Myroliubivka, Yelizavetivka, Promin, Myrnohrad, Zvirove, Udachne, Kotlyne, Novooleksandrivka, Novoyelizavetivka, Kurakhove and Yantarne. Fighting continues in Lysivka, Dachanske, Novovasylivka, Shevchenko and Petropavlivka.
The Ukrainian defence forces are holding their positions, preventing the enemy from using their numerical superiority.
Kharkiv sector
Ukrainian soldiers successfully repelled attacks by enemy assault groups in Vovchansk and the Starytsia area. After suffering significant losses, the enemy retreated.
Kupyansk and Lyman sectors
In the Kupyansk sector, the enemy attacked Petropavlivka, Pishchane, Zahryzove and Zelenyi Hai. In the Liman sector, they attacked in the areas of Pershotravneve, Hrekivka, Terny and Makiivka. As a result, some of our positions were destroyed, but measures are being taken to stabilise the situation.
Siversk direction
Enemy attacks in the area of Bilohorivka were unsuccessful.
Kramatorsk and Toretsk sectors
Fighting took place in Chasovyi Yar, Stupochky, Bila Hora, Predtechyne and Toretsk. Some positions were damaged, but enemy assault groups are gradually being contained and destroyed.
Novopavlivka sector
The enemy tried to advance in the direction of Zelenivka, Velyka Novosilka and Vremivka using armoured vehicles. Ukrainian defenders destroyed one armoured combat vehicle along with the troops, the rest of the equipment was damaged.
Ukraine’s defence forces continue to destroy the enemy’s superior forces, restraining their offensive.
