Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga announced the lifting of the travel advisory against traveling to Hungary. The decision was made following the conclusion of the election campaign and a reduction in the risk of provocations.

Andriy Sybiga posted this on Facebook.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has lifted its previous recommendations for citizens to refrain from traveling to Hungary following the conclusion of the election campaign in that country.

According to Sybiga, manipulations regarding Ukraine were observed during the campaign, but after its conclusion, the heightened risks of provocations are no longer relevant.

“The Hungarians’ choice also marked the defeat of the policy of blackmail and anti-Ukrainian propaganda,” Sybiga noted.

The Foreign Ministry noted that it expects relations between the countries to normalize after the elections. Ukraine, according to the minister, is ready to work toward achieving this goal in both the consular and political spheres.
