President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has signed laws extending martial law and general mobilisation.
Martial law and mobilisation have been extended for 90 days from 8 February, and will be in effect until 9 May.
Earlier, on 15 January, the Verkhovna Rada supported the relevant bills.
This is the 14th extension of the martial law regime since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion.
At the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion, martial law was introduced and extended for one month, and from May 2022 to the present day, it has been extended for three months. General mobilisation was initially introduced for 90 days.
