Russian forces attacked Kyiv with ballistic missiles overnight on June 28. Two people were injured in the capital’s Darnytskyi district as a result of the strike, Tymur Tkachenko, head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, reported.

During the air raid alert, he urged residents of the capital to stay in shelters, warning that the enemy was attacking Kyiv with ballistic missiles.
Tkachenko initially reported one injured person in Darnytskyi district. Later, the number of injured rose to two.
Fires were also reported at several locations in the district.
According to the Kyiv City Military Administration, one fire broke out near a residential building. At another location, a vehicle service station caught fire, and a non-residential building also burned.
Information about the consequences of the attack and the condition of the injured is being clarified.
Updated. Ukraine’s State Emergency Service said rescuers had eliminated the consequences of the overnight attack on Kyiv in the Darnytskyi district.
As a result of the strike, a garage unit and vehicles in an open area caught fire. The total fire area was 300 square meters. Rescuers extinguished the blaze.
At another location, a pyrotechnic unit of the State Emergency Service was deployed. Together with Kyiv police explosives experts, specialists removed the warhead and safe fragments of an enemy missile.
