Israel has already provided Ukraine with all the necessary means to create an early warning system for air threats, and the Ukrainian military is already using Israeli three-dimensional radars. This was stated by Ambassador of Ukraine to Israel Yevhen Korniychuk during the Kyiv Jewish Forum 2024.

“Israel has fully provided Ukraine with everything it needs to create an early warning system. We are at the final stage of its launch. Part of the system is already functioning, including the use of Israeli three-dimensional radar, which the military is already using. This is not a secret,” Korniychuk said.

According to him, Ukraine can purchase additional radars from Israel if necessary.

During the discussion with the moderator, the ambassador also touched upon the issue of cooperation between Russia and Iran, the supply of Shahed drones, which are used to attack Ukraine and now Israel.
“Recently, an Iranian Shahed drone struck a military base north of Tel Aviv, resulting in 70 injuries and four deaths. Israeli journalists recalled my interview a year and a half ago, when I handed over a piece of the Shahed to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Then President Zelensky emphasized the need for cooperation between Ukraine and Israel to prevent such attacks,” the ambassador added.

In his opinion, the wars in Ukraine and Israel have many similarities and are closely related. Both countries have common enemies and allies, including the United States and European countries.
