Ukraine has already signed four contracts for the supply of interceptor drones worth over UAH 3 billion.
This was announced by Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal.
“The state is developing the market for Ukrainian interceptor drones. Yesterday, three manufacturers received contracts. In total, we already have four contracts worth over UAH 3 billion. We will continue to scale up these technologies,” he said.
The Ministry of Defense is also negotiating with state banks on the possibility of lending to drone manufacturers under state guarantees.
“In addition, the Ministry of Defense is negotiating with partners to attract financing for the purchase of such interceptors. Initial agreements have been reached,” the minister added.
