The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine reported that, according to preliminary data, five Ukrainian citizens, including three children, were killed as a result of Iranian strikes on Israel.
“According to preliminary information from the Ukrainian Embassy in Israel, on 14 June, as a result of a massive missile attack by Iran against Israel and a missile hitting a residential building in the city of Bat Yam, five Ukrainian citizens were killed, including three minor children. The identities of the victims are currently being established. Ukrainian diplomats and consuls are in close contact with the Israeli police and other services in order to identify and organise the repatriation of the bodies of the deceased,” the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry told “Radio Liberty”.
Israel launched air strikes on Iranian territory on 13 June, attacking nuclear, military and energy facilities. In response, Iran struck Israel with missiles and drones.
According to the latest data, about 140 people, including high-ranking military officials, were killed in Iran as a result of Israeli attacks. In Israel, 15 people were killed as a result of Iranian strikes, according to the Ministry of Health.
