        Intense fighting continues on the front: nearly 100 clashes reported in a day

        As of 16:00 on 6 July, Ukraine’s General Staff reports 97 combat clashes since the start of the day. Russian forces continue heavy shelling, hitting towns and villages in Sumy and Chernihiv regions.

        The situation is especially tense on the Lyman axis, with 21 attacks recorded since morning. On the Pokrovsk axis, the enemy has launched 26 assault attempts, 19 of which have already been repelled. Fighting is also ongoing on the Toretsk, Kupiansk, and Southern-Slobozhansky axes, among others.

        Russian troops are actively using air power, with strikes reported on Zalyznychnе, Plavni, and Lʹvove. Despite sustained pressure, Ukraine’s Defence Forces continue to hold back the enemy and repel assaults along key sections of the frontline.
