Peter Magyar, leader of the Tisza Party, has stated that he is ready to sit down at the negotiating table with Russian President Vladimir Putin if circumstances require it.
Peter Magyar made this statement in an interview with the Hungarian publication Nepszava.
According to him, if necessary, Hungary could negotiate with Russian dictator Putin, given the country’s geographical location and energy dependence.
“Our geographical location won’t change, nor will our energy dependence in the short term. We need to strengthen diversification, but that doesn’t happen overnight. If necessary, we will negotiate, but we won’t be friends,” said Magyar.
He also reported that the “Tisza” party is preparing to form a government after the elections. According to Magyar, there are already candidates for the heads of all ministries.
