On the morning of 7 July, strike drones attacked the Krasnozavodsky Chemical Plant in the Moscow region, which is part of the Russian defence industry and linked to the Russian Ministry of Defence.
Local residents reported a series of explosions, saying that at least seven strikes were heard, according to Exilenova+.
The Krasnozavodsky Chemical Plant is part of Russia’s defence industry and is involved in the production of military components and products, including lighting equipment, aircraft protection systems and anti-terrorist equipment.
Its customers are the Russian Federation’s security agencies: the Ministry of Defence, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Federal Security Service.
One of the plant’s largest contracts is with military unit No. 55056, which is subordinate to the FSB. The total value of the contract is over 8.6 million rubles.
The plant receives investments through the state corporation Rostec, which supports its profile in the field of military development.
