U.S. President Donald Trump published a lengthy post on his social network Truth Social, sharply attacking well-known conservative commentators and podcasters — Tucker Carlson, Megyn Kelly, Candace Owens, and Alex Jones.
It is worth noting that all four were previously supporters of Trump and helped him win the election.
The reason was their criticism of Trump’s stance on Iran and the possibility of the country obtaining nuclear weapons. Trump accused them of allegedly thinking it would be a “great” idea for Iran — which he called “the number one sponsor of terrorism” — to acquire nuclear weapons.
“They have only one thing in common — low IQ. They are stupid people, they know it, their families know it, and everyone else knows it too!” Trump wrote.
He called them “nut jobs,” “troublemakers,” and “losers” who have lost their TV shows, are no longer invited on television, and are now trying to “attach themselves” to MAGA through podcasts for cheap publicity. Trump stressed that their views contradict the true MAGA movement, which helped him win the election by a large margin.
The president was particularly harsh on Candace Owens (mentioning her accusations against the French president’s wife) and Alex Jones (recalling his conspiracy theories about the Sandy Hook shooting). He also criticized CNN, The New York Times, and other “radical left” media for allegedly amplifying this criticism.
At the end of the post, Trump emphasized that MAGA is about “winning and strength,” preventing Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons, and making America great again. “The United States is now the ‘hottest’ country anywhere in the world!” he said.
