During the night, the body of a young woman was recovered from the rubble of a destroyed house in Kharkiv. She was the mother of a three-year-old boy who had been found earlier by rescuers.



This was reported by the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office. According to preliminary data, the identities of the victims have been identified by a male acquaintance. Final identification will be carried out after the relevant expert examinations.
According to the prosecutor’s office, on the afternoon of January 2, Russian troops struck the center of Kharkiv with two Iskander ballistic missiles. The attack destroyed a commercial and office building and part of the entrance to a four-story apartment building, damaged the windows of 25 houses, a hospital, and an educational institution, as well as 33 cars. The body of three-year-old Maxim was found under the rubble, and later the body of his mother.
