On October 1, Russian forces struck the administrative building of a DTEK coal enterprise in the Dnipropetrovsk region. One employee sustained shrapnel wounds.

A fire broke out at the enterprise after the strike and has already been contained. Work to deal with the consequences of the attack is ongoing.
DTEK noted that Russia systematically targets the company’s facilities. Since the start of the full-scale invasion, DTEK thermal power plants have come under more than 230 attacks.
DTEK coal enterprises in the Dnipropetrovsk region have also repeatedly been targeted.
Earlier, Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration head Oleksandr Hanzha reported a strike on Pavlohrad that left four people injured. A 69-year-old woman was hospitalized in serious condition, while men aged 24 and 42 were hospitalized in moderate condition. Another 67-year-old woman is receiving outpatient treatment. An administrative building in the city was also damaged and a fire broke out.
