Ukrainian defense technology company SkyFall has unveiled its first middle-strike attack drone, the Thor Hammer. The platform is already being used on the battlefield and is available in versions with ranges of up to 350 km and 600 km.

This was reported by 24 Kanal.

        Thor Hammer specifications

        • Range and warhead. Thor Hammer carries a 40–50 kg warhead and, depending on the version, can fly up to 350 km or 600 km.
        • Speed and cost. The drone can reach speeds of up to 180 km/h. Depending on configuration, one Thor Hammer costs between $25,000 and $30,000.
        • Dimensions and flight altitude. The drone has a wingspan of 3.5 meters and is 3 meters long. Its maximum flight altitude is up to 4,000 meters, while deployment takes 18 minutes.
        • Warhead types and launch. Thor Hammer can be fitted with fragmentation, high-explosive fragmentation, or other types of warheads. It is launched using either a catapult or a rocket booster.
        • Mobility. The system can be deployed from both stationary platforms and mobile launchers mounted on trucks or other vehicles.
        • Optics and communications. Thor Hammer can be equipped with a daytime or thermal imaging camera. It can also use Starlink or other secure communications systems depending on mission requirements.
        • Navigation and resistance to electronic warfare. The system combines satellite, inertial and backup positioning, allowing it to continue its mission under electronic warfare interference.
        • Autonomous flight. The drone follows a pre-programmed route autonomously and transmits live video. As it approaches the target, the system alerts the operator, who makes the final decision on whether to strike.
        • Artificial intelligence and targeting. Once the target is confirmed, Thor Hammer uses artificial intelligence and computer vision to automatically adjust its trajectory. Guidance continues even if radio or video communications are completely lost.

Thor Hammer is also integrated with SkyFall’s remote-control system, which allows the UAV to be operated from anywhere in the world. The drone’s key electronics are developed in-house by SkyFall. At the same time, the company’s R&D team is working on engines for middle-strike drones.

By the end of the year, SkyFall plans to increase production capacity to 5,000 Thor Hammer drones per month. The company is also developing a version with a range of more than 1,000 km.
