The 1,171st day of Russia’s large-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun. Over the past 24 hours, 193 combat clashes were recorded on the front lines. Most of the attacks were repelled by the Defense Forces in the Pokrovsk (71), Novopavlivka (28), and Lyman (27) directions.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The enemy launched one missile and 18 air strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas, used one missile and dropped 32 guided air bombs. In addition, it carried out almost 4,000 shelling attacks, 67 of which were from multiple launch rocket systems, and used 2,659 kamikaze drones.
The aggressor carried out air strikes on the areas of the settlements of Brusky, Boyaro-Lezhachi, Vorozhba, Yastrubine, Bilopillia, and Nova Sloboda in the Sumy region.
Kharkiv, Kupiansk, Lyman, and Siverskyi directions
In the Kharkiv direction, the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled four enemy attacks in the Vovchansk area.
In the Kupiansk direction, four attacks by the occupiers also took place over the past day. Defense forces repelled enemy assaults near Synkivka, Stepova Novoselivka, Nova Kruhlykivka, and in the direction of Novoosynove.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked 27 times. They tried to advance near the settlements of Nadiya, Novoyegorivka, Ridkodub, Hrekivka, Novomykhailivka, Kolodyazi, Zelenaya Dolyna, and Torske.
Five enemy assaults in the areas of Bilohorivka and Fedorivka were repelled by Ukrainian defenders in the Siverskyi direction.
Kramatorsk, Toretsk, Pokrovsk directions
In the Kramatorsk direction, six clashes were recorded in the areas of Chasiv Yar and Kurdyumivka.
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy carried out nine attacks on the positions of the Defense Forces near Krymske and Toretsk.
In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian defenders stopped 71 assaults and offensive actions by the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Oleksandropil, Yelizavetivka, Hrodivka, Myrolyubivka, Dachenske, Zvirove, Kotlyne, Udachne, Novooleksandrivka, Kotlyarivka, Preobrazhenka, and Andriivka.
Novopavlivka, Kursk, and other directions
In the Novopavlivka direction, the Defense Forces repelled 28 enemy attacks near Rozliv, Novosilka, Novopol, Pryvilne, Burlatsk, and in the direction of Odradne.
In the Orikhiv direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled three enemy assaults in the areas of Stepove and Shcherbakiv.
In the Dnipro direction, over the past day, the aggressor’s units made five unsuccessful attempts to advance on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Over the past day, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 19 attacks by Russian invaders in the Kursk direction. In addition, the enemy carried out nine air strikes using 17 guided bombs and 274 artillery strikes on the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas, including six from multiple launch rocket systems.
No enemy offensive actions were recorded in the Huliaipole direction over the past day.
No signs of the formation of offensive groups of the aggressor were detected in the Volyn and Polissya directions.
