Rescue workers extinguished a fire that broke out in Zaporizhzhia following a Russian strike on May 15. One person was killed and three were injured.
This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
The emergency responders’ work was complicated by the threat of further strikes. A total of 89 rescue workers and 19 pieces of equipment from the State Emergency Service were deployed to the scene.
As a result of the Russian attack, one person was killed and three were injured.
As previously reported by Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, the Russians attacked an industrial infrastructure facility. A tank containing fuel and lubricants and several vehicles were damaged.
Three men aged 54, 60, and 63 were injured. All suffered blast injuries. Medical personnel assess the patients’ condition as critical.
