On May 15, Russian forces attacked the Odesa region with strike drones. Ten people were injured in the strikes, and residential buildings and port infrastructure were damaged.
This was reported by Oleg Kiper, head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, and the State Enterprise “Administration of Seaports of Ukraine.”
In the morning, Russian drones attacked one of the ports in the Greater Odesa area. Seven employees of companies located within the port were injured in the attack. Six people were hospitalized. Port infrastructure, a warehouse with cargo, and vehicles were also damaged.
In the Odesa district, a UAV was reported to have crashed onto the grounds of a private residential property and a gardening cooperative. Two residential buildings were damaged as a result of the attack. A small fire broke out on one of the plots. One person is known to have been injured.
The total number of casualties from the nighttime and morning attacks in the Odesa region has risen to ten people. Six are in the hospital, and two are in serious condition. Emergency services continue to work at the sites of the strikes, and efforts to address the aftermath of the attack are ongoing.
