Estonia confirmed its decision to allocate at least 0.25% of its GDP to support Ukraine, which will amount to about €110 million in 2026.

A key focus will be the procurement of drones and counter-drone systems.

The sides also discussed Estonia’s role in co-leading the IT coalition together with Luxembourg. In total, €1.4 billion has been mobilized for communication systems and technological solutions, with Estonia contributing €5.7 million this year.

Estonia has also provided an additional $13 million contribution to the PURL mechanism to help meet urgent needs of Ukraine’s Defense Forces.

Fedorov noted that the sides are working on technology exchange to turn innovation into a battlefield advantage.
