        On the night of July 9, residents of Russia’s Stavropol Krai reported explosions. According to OSINT analysis of eyewitness footage, drones attacked an oil depot in Mikhailovsk, after which a fire broke out at the facility, ASTRA reported.

        The facility is an oil depot in Mikhailovsk, in the Shpakovsky district of Stavropol Krai. It belongs to the network of LUKOIL-Yugnefteprodukt LLC.

        It is a wholly owned distribution subsidiary of Russia’s LUKOIL, which is engaged in the storage, transshipment and sale of petroleum products through oil depots and a network of filling stations in southern and central Russia.

        The regional governor confirmed the attack on Stavropol Krai and a fire on the “territory of an industrial facility”. According to him, a drone attack was being repelled in the area of Stavropol.

        He said debris had fallen in the regional capital near Kolomiytseva Street. According to operational data, there was no destruction or casualties there, and emergency services were working at the scene.

        The governor also said that the raid caused a fire on the territory of an industrial facility in the Vyasniki hamlet of the Shpakovsky district. Firefighters are working there.

        According to preliminary information, there were no casualties. The governor said there was no threat to people’s lives or health, and no risk of the fire spreading to residential buildings had been recorded.
