On the night of 16 August (from 19:30 on 15 August), the enemy attacked with an Iskander-M ballistic missile and 85 Shahed-type strike UAVs and dummy drones, according to the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Frontline areas in Sumy, Donetsk, Chernihiv, and Dnipropetrovsk regions were attacked.
“According to preliminary data, as of 8:00 a.m., air defences shot down/suppressed 61 enemy Shahed-type UAVs and various types of dummy drones in the north and east of the country. Missile strikes and 24 UAVs were recorded at 12 locations,” the military reported.
