        31 Dead and 102 Injured: Kyiv Completes Emergency Work After Russian Attack

        Emergency and rescue operations have been completed in Kyiv at the site where a Russian strike hit a 16-story residential building in the Darnytskyi district. The July 2 attack killed 31 people and injured 102 others, Ukraine’s State Emergency Service reported.

        Today, rescuers worked on the 12th and 13th floors of the damaged building. They cleared about 42 cubic meters of construction debris.

        Using an XCMG QY75K mobile crane provided by the State Emergency Service’s regional department in Rivne Oblast, crews removed 24 fragments of reinforced concrete slabs from the 12th and 13th floors. Their total weight was about 53 tonnes.

        During the operation, rescuers found human remains. They were handed over to the National Police for forensic examination.

        Today, 30 rescuers and 8 units of equipment from Kyiv’s State Emergency Service were involved in dealing with the aftermath of the Russian attack.

        Overall, as of today, 31 people have been killed and 102 injured in the Russian attack on Kyiv on July 2.
