Russian troops committed 2,935 ceasefire violations in just one day on Easter. The Pokrovske direction remained the hottest, and the “silence” was not observed in the Kursk direction.

This was announced by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy with reference to the report of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi.

Most of the attacks and assaults took place in the Pokrovsk sector. A total of 96 assault operations, 1,882 attacks on Ukrainian positions, including 812 with heavy weapons, and more than 950 attacks by FPV drones were recorded along the frontline.

Moscow did not respond to Kyiv’s proposal for a complete ceasefire for 30 days after Easter, nor did it respond to the call to refrain from striking civilian infrastructure.

The nature of Ukrainian actions will continue to be mirrored: we will respond to silence with silence, and we will respond to Russian strikes with our own strikes. Actions are always more eloquent than words,” Zelensky summarized.
