Russian attacks continue across Ukraine despite the full ceasefire proposal made nearly a month ago. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated this in his evening video address on April 10.
According to the President, a missile strike on Dnipro—reportedly a ballistic missile—killed one person and injured five others. Emergency services are currently working at the scene.
Zelenskyy also reported a drone attack on Kyiv earlier in the day, along with heavy shelling in other regions. In Nikopol, 12 people were injured, including a child, after five FPV drones struck near a local food market. Kharkiv, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, and Sumy regions also came under fire, with the enemy using guided aerial bombs in Sumy.
The President emphasized that Russia is clearly not interested in ending the war and uses diplomatic contact only to pursue its own goals. He called for increased pressure on Moscow to force an end to the terror and war.
Zelenskyy also announced that Ukraine is preparing new sanction packages. These will target Russia’s shadow tanker fleet, which finances the war, pro-war propagandists, and several individuals within Ukraine who previously held influence. He added that the relevant decrees are in preparation and will be enacted step by step, in coordination with partners—particularly the European Union and other jurisdictions.
The President also thanked Ukraine’s Security Service (SBU) for its work in countering sabotage and enemy agents.
