According to the president, Ukrainian forces struck the Saratov oil refinery during the night of May 31. The facility is located about 700 kilometers from the front line.

“Last night, our warriors applied Ukraine’s long-range sanctions against an oil refinery in Russia’s Saratov region — about 700 kilometers from the front line. An important result. Thank you!” Zelenskyy said.
