On Wednesday, April 1, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy will join a videoconference with representatives of the United States and NATO. During the meeting, the parties plan to discuss the state of peace negotiations.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced this while speaking with journalists at the Bucha summit, Suspilne reports.
According to Zelenskyy, U.S. President Donald Trump’s special envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, Republican Senator Lindsey Graham, as well as NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte will join the call.
“Tomorrow a conversation with the American side was planned in video format. I will join, they also asked me to. I spoke about this tonight with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte. We agreed that he, I, Witkoff, Kushner, Lindsey Graham will discuss where we are and how close we are to trilateral agreements or at least to trilateral meetings. Therefore, tomorrow we will have the relevant contacts,” the president said.
He also added that the head of the Ukrainian negotiating team and Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Rustem Umerov, who is currently in Turkey, will also join the meeting.
