Ukraine now has more air defence systems, but the Russians have started to use ballistics much more, Interfax-Ukraine reports, citing Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
“Look, in my opinion, the figures we have show that we have not lost any air defence missiles. The Russians have more missiles during attacks. We have slightly more systems. Russia is using much more ballistics. And they are getting components from, unfortunately, partner countries, from the private sector. But, nevertheless, we must reduce their ability to produce these missiles,” Zelensky told reporters on Tuesday.
According to the president, the Russians have increased the number of Shaheds many times over, but the Defence Forces have increased the use of interceptors and mobile fire groups.
‘We will find the tools, we will defeat the Shaheds in the end. But we must do it. We must – without this, we will not survive. As for ballistics, so far the key is only in the hands of the United States,’ Zelensky added.
