President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that during a meeting in Kyiv with the leaders of the United Kingdom, France, Germany, and Poland, a united position was reached on the need for a full and unconditional ceasefire lasting at least 30 days. He shared the update on social media.

The meeting, referred to in Ukraine as “United Europe in Ukraine,” was held in an expanded format, with leaders of over 30 countries, the EU, and NATO joining online.

“The most important result is a completely clear united position on a ceasefire — full, unconditional, and for at least 30 days, to give diplomacy a real chance,” Zelensky emphasized.

The president noted that Ukraine is also engaged in a productive dialogue with the United States. In particular, following the summit, all participants spoke with President Donald Trump and agreed on joint steps.

Zelensky stressed that a full ceasefire is a necessary condition for advancing toward a just peace, and he called for accountability for those who refuse to support it.
