        Russian airstrikes on Sloviansk injure five, damage homes, shops and Nova Poshta facility

        On September 18, at around 10:30 a.m., Russian forces dropped FAB-250 aerial bombs equipped with UMPK guidance kits on Sloviansk. Five people were injured in the airstrikes.

        This was reported by Sloviansk City Military Administration head Vadym Liakh and the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor’s Office.

        Four men aged 24, 29 and 54, as well as a 39-year-old woman, were injured. The victims were diagnosed with blast injuries, a closed pelvic fracture, a shrapnel wound to the neck and concussions.

        The attacks damaged apartment buildings, shops, an administrative building and pavilions at the “Pryvokzalnyi” market. A post office was destroyed, while a cafe and vehicles were also damaged.

        The prosecutor’s office launched a pre-trial investigation into the shelling under Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine — violation of the laws and customs of war.
