On September 18, Russian forces attacked central Odesa. The occupiers used a jet-powered drone in the strike, damaging a high-rise building.
This was reported by Odesa Regional Military Administration head Oleh Kiper and Odesa City Military Administration head Serhii Lysak.
According to Kiper, the strike hit the city center. A jet-powered UAV damaged an administrative building.
“The enemy attacked the city. It struck a crowded place in central Odesa,” Lysak wrote.
All details of the attack and information about possible casualties are currently being clarified.
At 4:32 p.m., the Air Force reported that another jet-powered UAV was moving toward Odesa. According to local public channels, several explosions were heard in the city.
Updated at 4:58 p.m. Three people are known to have been injured as a result of the Russian Federation’s attack on Odesa. One of them is in serious condition.
