President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskiy said on social media that rescue and repair work is ongoing at the sites of Russian strikes wherever the security situation allows.

According to him, Russia used more than 400 drones and about 40 missiles of various types in the latest attack. The main targets were Ukraine’s energy infrastructure, including power grids, generation facilities and distribution substations. Damage was reported in Volyn, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv and Rivne regions. In Rivne, a multi-storey residential building was damaged. In Ladyzhyn, in the Vinnytsia region, drones struck the administrative building of a civilian agricultural college. Strikes were also recorded in the Kyiv and Kharkiv regions. In some areas, air defense forces continue to operate.

Zelenskiy said that every day Russia can choose genuine diplomacy but instead opts for new strikes. He stressed that all those who support trilateral talks must respond to this. According to the president, Moscow must be deprived of the ability to pressure Ukraine through cold weather.

To achieve this, Zelenskiy said Ukraine needs additional missiles for Patriot, NASAMS and other air defense systems. Each delivery, he noted, helps Ukraine get through the winter. He thanked all partners who understand this and are providing real assistance.
