Fighters from the “Timur Special Forces Unit” of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine carried out a successful special operation in the Sumy direction, disrupting the logistics of Russian troops and stopping their advance.
According to the Main Intelligence Directorate, during the raid, Ukrainian special forces entered the enemy’s rear, cleared their positions, and secured them. As a result of the reconnaissance unit’s actions, the supply of ammunition and provisions to Russian units in this section of the front was stopped.
“According to radio intercepts, Russian soldiers refused to storm Ukrainian positions in the unit’s area of responsibility, inventing far-fetched reasons for this,” the Main Intelligence Directorate reported.
According to preliminary data, Russian losses amounted to at least 334 dead and more than 550 wounded.
