The US Immigration and Customs Enforcement announced the deportation of Ukrainian citizens. The agency published photos of migrants at the Ukrainian border.

Photos of deported Ukrainians were published by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

“Here are photos of the first moments of Ukrainian migrants at home after their deportation from the United States,” the message on Facebook says.

The agency did not specify who exactly the deported citizens are and for what reasons they were expelled from the US.

Earlier, the Wall Street Journal wrote that since August 15, tens of thousands of Ukrainian refugees who were in the US under the Uniting for Ukraine program have lost their legal status and may be deported.

As a reminder, in late January, following President Donald Trump’s anti-immigrant executive order, the United States suspended accepting applications from Ukrainians for asylum under the Uniting for Ukraine program.

According to the UN, there are about 200,000 Ukrainian refugees living in the United States. Another 6.3 million Ukrainian citizens are in European countries.
