Ukrainian Defense Industry Council Begins Work: What Is Known

Today, on February 25, the Ukrainian Defense Manufacturers Council, a platform that consolidates the private defense industry for effective cooperation with government agencies, military and international partners, has started its work.

This was announced by the Advisor to the President of Ukraine on Strategic Issues Oleksandr Kamyshin.

The Council includes:

  • League of Defense Enterprises of Ukraine;
  • Ukrainian Robotic Forces;
  • Association of manufacturers of electronic warfare / electronic warfare systems;
  • Techosystem Defense;
  • Defense Alliance of Ukraine;
  • Association of Manufacturers of Unmanned Systems and Related Technologies “ARMADA”;
  • D3 Venture Capital Investment Fund.

Oleksandr Kamyshyn, Advisor to the President of Ukraine on Strategic Issues, former Minister of Strategic Industries, became the Chairman of the Board of the UOP.

Ihor Fedirko, former Deputy Director of Ukroboronservice for Humanitarian Demining and Head of the State Center for Humanitarian Demining, was elected Executive Director.

“Uniting producers into a single advocacy organization is a proven effective practice used around the world,” Kamyshin said.
