Ukrainian Defense Forces eliminate three Russian officers in Zaporizhzhia region (video)

In Zaporizhzhia region, the Ukrainian Defense Forces killed three senior officers of the Russian occupation forces during their meeting. The strike was carried out with HIMARS missiles, the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine reports.

Ukrainian intelligence received information about a planned meeting of Russian officers of the 4th Guards Military Base. After confirming the data, an operation plan was developed, which involved the DIU’s Active Action Department, the Tavria Operational Group, the Armed Forces Unmanned Systems Forces and the SBU’s Typhoon Tactical Group.

“Immediately after the start of the field meeting, the occupiers launched a precision strike from HIMARS on the cluster of Russian officers and their vehicles, and after the arrival of the evacuation group, the invaders were attacked by attack drones of the Ukrainian Security and Defense Forces,” the intelligence officers said.

Three Russian officers were killed in the operation:

• Captain Nagorny Dmytro Olehovych, commander of the 1st Battalion of the 135th Motorized Rifle Regiment of the Russian Armed Forces
• Captain Krokhmalev Hryhoriy Oleksandrovych, Deputy Chief of Staff for Intelligence, Chief of Intelligence of the 135th Motorized Rifle Regiment of the Russian Armed Forces;
• Captain Yuriy Viktorovych Fomin, commander of the anti-aircraft battery of the 4th Guards military base of the Russian Armed Forces.

Five vehicles were also destroyed.
