Ukrainian defense forces destroyed the latest Russian TOS-2 Tosochka flamethrower system near Pokrovsk. This is the first recorded loss of such a weapon.
According to the TyskNIP telegram channel, citing the Aloha user on the X network, the system was destroyed in the village of Petrivka, Pokrovsk district.
The use of TOS-2 in the war became known in October 2023, when the Russian Ministry of Defense officially confirmed its use. This is the latest version of the TOS-1 “Buratino” and TOS-1A “Solntsepek” heavy flamethrower systems developed by “Splav”.
