Ukrainian defenders hit “Liskinsk” oil depot in Voronezh region of Russia

On the night of January 16, the Ukrainian military successfully attacked the Liskinsk oil depot in the Voronezh region of the Russian Federation, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported.

The operation was carried out by units of the Special Operations Forces in cooperation with other units of the Defense Forces. According to preliminary data, the facility was hit by at least three attack drones, which caused a large-scale fire.

“More detailed information on the consequences of the attack is being clarified. Targeted and systematic combat work on important targets of the Russian invaders continues,” the General Staff noted.

The oil depot stored fuel that was used to meet the needs of the Russian occupation army.


On the night of January 16, an oil depot in Voronezh caught fire after a UAV attack. The governor of the Voronezh region, Alexander Gusev, said that the region was attacked by more than 10 drones.

Local authorities have not yet reported whether the fire has been localized.
