On the night of 22 March 2025 (from 19.30 on 21 March), the enemy attacked with 179 Shahed-type strike UAVs and various types of imitation drones, the Air Force Command reports.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Air Force and Defence Forces.
As of 08.30 a.m., 100 Shahed and other types of attack UAVs were confirmed downed in the south, north and centre of the country.
63 enemy imitator drones were lost in the area (without negative consequences).
The Russian attack affected Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, Sumy and Kyiv regions.
