The number of people injured in Kyiv following a massive Russian attack has risen to 87, including three minors. Two women were also killed after rescuers recovered their bodies from the rubble in the city’s Shevchenkivskyi district.
The State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported the update.
According to rescuers, damage to civilian and administrative infrastructure was recorded at 49 locations across Kyiv.
In the Shevchenkivskyi district, an apartment entrance of a five-story residential building was destroyed by the strike.
“Rescuers recovered the bodies of two deceased women,” the State Emergency Service said.
During the rescue operation, specialists dismantled 165 square meters of damaged reinforced concrete slabs.
Canine units also inspected more than 100 square meters of territory, while emergency psychologists provided assistance to 112 people.
Emergency response operations are ongoing.
