Ukraine has categorically rejected any allegations of involvement in the incident involving explosives found near the TurkStream pipeline in Serbia, calling such claims unfounded.
This was stated by Foreign Ministry spokesperson Heorhii Tykhyi.
“We categorically reject attempts to falsely link Ukraine to the incident with explosives found near the Turkstream pipeline in Serbia. Ukraine has nothing to do with this. Most probably, a Russian false-flag operation as part of Moscow’s heavy interference in Hungarian elections,” he said.
Earlier on April 5, Serbian authorities reported discovering explosives at critical gas infrastructure facilities connecting the country with Hungary. According to officials, the findings may indicate preparations for sabotage.
