        The Armed Forces of Ukraine have cleared two more settlements in Sumy region from the occupiers, — General Staff

        The Armed Forces of Ukraine regained control over two villages in the Sumy region near the border with Russia. These are Stepne and Novokostiantynivka.

        This was reported by the General Staff of the AFU.

        “The Defense Forces of Ukraine cleared the populated areas of Stepne and Novokostiantynivka (formerly Perше Travnia) in the Sumy region of Russian occupiers. The soldiers of the 225th Separate Assault Regiment, through active actions, drove the enemy units beyond the state border of Ukraine,” the statement reads.

        Neither on the General Staff map nor on the DeepState map were the villages of Stepne and Novokostiantynivka marked as occupied.

        According to the General Staff, on the Northern Slobozhansky and Kursk directions as of 10:00 PM on August 11, there were 13 attacks. The enemy carried out eight aviation strikes, dropping 16 guided bombs, conducted 287 shelling incidents, including 24 with multiple launch rocket systems.
