On the morning of August 12, Russian forces carried out two missile strikes on the city of Balakliia in the Izium district of Kharkiv region. Three people were injured in the attack, and apartment buildings and private homes were damaged.
This was reported by the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Kharkiv region.
The first missile hit a two-story residential building. The roof and one of the apartments caught fire.
Later, Russian forces again attacked the residential sector of Balakliia. The strike damaged apartment buildings and private homes, and a fire broke out in one of the buildings.
Operational units of the State Emergency Service, a community rescue officer, medics and law enforcement officers worked at the scene.
Information on the condition of the injured is being clarified.
