According to the president, Russian forces have been using guided aerial bombs, Shahed-type attack drones, and ballistic missiles.

“I briefed the Prime Minister on the Russian strikes that have continued relentlessly throughout the day against various Ukrainian cities: aerial bombs, Shaheds, and ballistic missiles. Air defense is, of course, the top priority,” Zelenskyy said.

The president thanked Burnham for supporting Ukraine and expressing condolences to the families of those killed in Russian attacks.

Another key topic of the talks was increasing international pressure on Russia in response to the escalation of strikes against Ukraine.

Zelenskyy emphasized the importance of British leadership in European security and continued sanctions pressure on Moscow.

“The United Kingdom’s leadership is always felt, and it matters that Britain will continue to increase sanctions pressure on Russia in response to its escalation,” the president said.

According to Zelenskyy, they also discussed possible diplomatic steps that could help bring the war to an end.

Ukraine and the United Kingdom are preparing joint actions and a follow-up meeting.

During his conversation with Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre, Zelenskyy also described the Russian attacks that had continued throughout the day.

The president thanked the Norwegian government and people for their support of Ukraine.

He stressed that international partners must demonstrate to Russia that it cannot continue the war indefinitely.

“This is an especially important time when new steps are needed to ensure Russia does not get the impression that it can break the world and continue the war indefinitely,” Zelenskyy said.

According to the president, Norway reaffirmed its readiness to continue assisting Ukraine.

Kyiv and Oslo will continue coordinating their efforts and are preparing further meetings and joint decisions to support Ukraine.
